Systems Engineer
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and experienced Systems Engineer, who will be a key member of the Systems & Security Integration Team of Algosystems.
Key accountabilities:
- Administration, operations and monitoring internal & customers’ IT infrastructure, onsite & cloud
- Installation & configuration of Linux & Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Virtual Infrastructure, Storage and Back-up systems and structure
- Participate in the deployment of new IT projects, applications integration and systems migration to upgrade existing infrastructure
- Tune performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure
- Create tools to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure
Core competencies and knowledge:
- Excellent working experience in Linux and Windows technologies including O365 & MS Azure
- Solid knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V architecture
- Proven working experience supporting technical configuration of enterprise-wide applications in a cutting-edge technology environment
- A broad understanding of the tools available for analysis, systems design, programming languages, and documentation
- Experience in applying the tools to actual business situations
- Excellent command of English language
Professional qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other related field
- 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant position
- Security Clearance: No special clearance is required. This is subject to change depending Company’s projects and Customers.
- Fulfilled military service
- Full GR driving license
- Vendor specific certification to be earned within 6 months of hire
